Last week, Winter Goose Publishing, sent the final draft of Withering and asked me to write the dedications. It took me until today to get them done as I could have written an entire book filled with all the people who helped me along the way. And I could not have given thanks to anyone at all if I didn’t thank you. So, there is a special dedication to my fwf writing bandits & readers who frequent my blog and continue to inspire me with your words. I hope you don’t mind.
I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. The fact that I have a full fledged novella going to publication. I have been writing this story for years and never thought it would see the light of day. And when I think of that — when I think of how long it took, and the work I put into it, I become terrified. And I begin to question myself.
That is an awful lot of time and effort that could possibly turn out to be wasted.
What if people hate it?
What if I made mistakes?
What if it doesn’t make sense?
What if I left something out?
